Dedicated vs virtual server host

Post by Andrew Jones » Wed May 24, 2017 3:46 pm

What is the difference between dedicated and virtual server? Both of these servers are accessible and running privately. Is it a synonym? Technically, is there any difference between VPS and dedicated server?

There's a physical difference between dedicated and virtual server (VPS - Virtual Private Server). It's just virtual, because the hosting providers are running more virtual private servers per each one physical shared server, whereas a dedicated server is purely only your. Then what's the difference between shared hosting and VPS? Virtual private servers (VPS) don't share && do really have the root access, (usually, don't share any) CPU power, nor memory hardware and virtual private servers obtain own unique IP addresses. You should read the hardware parameters before you select a VPS, or DS hosting plan.
