flush iptables

Post by Augie Erhard » Wed May 31, 2017 4:22 pm

How can I safely flush iptables in a Linux firewall? My server is not accessible via port 80, nor 443 and the best is to delete all the rules, because I don't know where ever it is it from.

Basically, it worked for me on CentOS and Debian based OS as well. Just the order...

Code: Select all

iptables -F
iptables -X

What if it is UFW installed in CentOs? Is it the same command?
